What do you look for when shopping for a beach read for your family’s annual vacation? I want total escape, complete emersion. Whether that means mystery, romance, or historical fiction. It matters not to me as long as the plot is fast-paced and the characters are well drawn. As I prepare for my vacation—short this year due to my children’s work and school schedules—I’ve been thinking a lot about my favorite beach reads from years past. I decided to share the list with you. I’ll warn you, though, there are some oldies, but goodies, on this list.
What am I taking with me on vacation this year?
