It’s hard to believe summer is winding down. I hope you enjoy these last opportunities to escape in a good book before the chaos of the school year begins.

My apologies for the late posting of this month’s reading challenge. I’ve been busy wrapping up edits on a manuscript for a January release.

We’re reading historical fiction for August! Historical fiction comes in all shapes and sizes. The 60s have been a popular era this summer with Elin Hildebrand’s Summer of ’69 and Jennifer Weiner’s Mrs. Everything. For the most part, I’ve grown tired of World War II novels, although every now and then one with an intriguing plot will catch my attention.
